Partnerships Begin Long Before the MOU

I have watched beautifully drafted memoranda die within a quarter, and handshake collaborations run for years. The difference is almost never legal.

It is whether both parties can articulate the other's incentive without prompting. If you cannot state, plainly, what your partner needs to be able to claim internally at the end of this, you do not have a partnership. You have an announcement.

So I now start smaller than feels dignified: one modest, fast, visible collaboration. It generates the only asset that matters at scale, which is evidence that working together produces results.

Trust compounds faster than documents. Build the trust, then let the paperwork describe what is already true.
